The 1-10 V Dimming Actuator is a specialized device designed for installation within a distribution board, making it an integral component in building automation and lighting control systems. It is particularly suitable for controlling dimmable electronic ballasts or transformers equipped with a 1-10 V interface, enabling precise and energy-efficient regulation of lighting intensity.
This actuator is equipped with four independent output channels, each featuring a floating switching contact rated at 10 A. The floating contacts ensure electrical isolation and reliable switching performance, allowing flexible integration with various lighting circuits and loads. The four channels can be configured individually, providing the flexibility to control multiple lighting groups or zones simultaneously within a single installation.
Parameterization and configuration of the actuator are carried out using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software), which ensures seamless adaptation to project-specific requirements. Each channel’s behaviour, such as switching mode, dimming curves, response times, and safety functions, can be customized via ETS to meet the desired control strategy.
Connection to the KNX bus system is established through a dedicated bus connection terminal, ensuring smooth communication and interoperability with other KNX devices in the building automation network. This enables centralized or decentralized control, integration into automation scenarios, and compatibility with smart building functions such as scheduling, scene control, and remote access.
