Dimming Actuator, Leading, 500W, 4 channel

The Leading Edge Dimming Actuator is designed for installation within a distribution board and is suitable for high-powered dimming control of various load types, including incandescent lamps, 230 V AC halogen lamps, and low-voltage halogen lamps operated either on electronic or conventional transformers. By applying leading edge phase-cut dimming technology, the actuator provides reliable and efficient performance, particularly for resistive and inductive loads, making it well-suited for traditional lighting applications.

This actuator is built with robust dimming channels capable of handling significant load capacities while maintaining stable operation. Each channel is equipped with protective features against overload, short circuit, and overheating, ensuring both safety and durability. Parameterization and configuration are carried out using the ETS (Engineering Tool Software), which allows customization of settings such as minimum and maximum dimming levels, dimming curves, soft start and soft off behavior, and safety responses.

Integration with the KNX bus system is achieved through a dedicated bus connection terminal, enabling seamless communication and interoperability with other KNX devices within the building automation network. Through KNX, the actuator can be used for individual or group control, as well as for advanced functions such as scene setting, scheduled operation, and centralized monitoring.
