IP Router Secure

The Compact KNX IP Router Secure is designed to forward telegrams between different KNX lines via a LAN (IP) backbone, offering a fast and efficient communication channel. In addition to routing, it also enables PC connection to the KNX network for ETS programming, making it a versatile tool for system integration. Supporting KNX Security, the device ensures safe data transmission by allowing coupling between unsecured KNX TP communication and a secured IP backbone, while tunnelling security prevents unauthorized access. The IP address can be assigned automatically through a DHCP server or configured manually via ETS, providing flexibility during setup. Fully compliant with the KNXnet/IP specification, it supports core, device management, tunnelling, and routing functions. With an extended filter table for main group 0–31 and a buffer capacity of up to 150 telegrams, the IP Router Secure delivers reliable performance. IP Router Secure

The compact IP Router secure allows forwarding of telegrams between different lines through a LAN (IP) as a fast backbone. In addition, this device is suited to connect a PC to the KNX network e.g. for ETS programming.  The device supports KNX Security which can be enabled in ETS. As secure router the device allows coupling of not secured communication on KNX TP to a secured IP backbone. Also, for the interface functionality (tunnelling) KNX security prevents from unauthorized access.  The IP address can be obtained by a DHCP server or by manual configuration (ETS) respectively. This device works according to the KNXnet/IP specification using the core, the device management, the tunnelling and the routing part. The IP Router secure has an extended filter table for main group 0.31 and is able to buffer up to 150 telegrams. Power is supplied via the KNX bus.
