The KNX Room Control Unit (RCU) Series is a versatile and intelligent solution designed for centralized room automation in residential, commercial, and hospitality projects. Engineered for seamless integration into KNX smart building systems, the devices are suitable for installation on distribution boards with a standard 35mm DIN EN 60715 mounting rail, or within compact enclosures to support quick and professional installation. Built with reliability in mind, the RCU Series ensures safe operation while also simplifying testing, maintenance, and repair processes for long-term system stability.
The series consists of two powerful modules that work independently or in combination to meet a wide range of control requirements. The RCU Module Master is a feature-rich controller equipped with 8 relays and manual switches, a built-in 320mA KNX power supply, and 16 dry contact inputs for flexible integration with various sensors and switches. Acting as the central unit, it is capable of managing multiple room functions, including lighting, blinds, HVAC, and scene control, while also providing a direct interface for both automatic and manual operation.
Complementing the Master, the RCU Module Slave serves as an expansion module, offering 4+4 relays with manual switches and its own built-in 320mA KNX power supply. Designed to extend the capacity of the Master module, the Slave enables additional loads to be controlled without compromising system performance. Together, the Master and Slave units create a scalable and highly adaptable solution for room automation, capable of meeting both small-scale and large-scale project demands.
With their robust design, integrated manual operation, and flexible configuration through ETS, the KNX Room Control Unit Series delivers reliable performance, energy efficiency, and user-friendly control, making it an essential component for modern smart building applications.
